Primarily our Live Music Shows are 21+, though select events will be listed as “18+” or “All Ages” — Please check with the event listing for the show you’re planning to attend to see that show’s requirements.
Unfortunately we do not allow you to bring in any chairs. Some shows are General Admission Standing Room and will be listed as such. We have a limited amount of tables/chairs available in the room for select shows. Some shows will have VIP tables/chairs available for purchase.

Yep, we love to party! Invite them all in! If your group is over 20 guests, we ask that you reach out to us about planning a private event so you can have enough space and staff for the party.

Burgerbach’s is now located inside of Tuffy’s!
Burgerbach’s is a collaboration with Sanford staples Hollerbach’s. Burgerbach’s specializes in Oklahoma-style smashed burgers, known for their irresistible crust and juicy interior. But it’s not just the burgers that keep our patrons coming back; our pickle-marinated chicken sandwiches have quickly become a crowd favorite, combining tangy and crispy in every bite. Designed for speed and flavor, our menu allows you to grab a quick meal and get right back to enjoying your night, whether you’re dancing inside or chilling on the patio.
We also cater to the unique tastes of the Suffering Bastard, Tuffy’s secret tiki bar nestled within the venue. Here, our menu shifts to tropical-inspired bites that pair flawlessly with the bar’s exotic cocktail offerings, enhancing the escape to a Polynesian paradise without ever leaving Sanford.
We allow well-behaved dogs that remain leashed. We prefer all dogs to be outside. Dogs are not allowed inside the Music Box or Suffering Bastard.
Children and anyone under 21 can hangout until 8pm at Tuffy’s, though need to be supervised and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Ticketed Shows will be listed as either: 21+, 18+, or All Ages. If you are attending a show and have purchased a ticket (and are the appropriate age for the event), you are allowed to stay on site.
We know you’re having a good time and sometimes forget to close out! We will run the credit card at the end of the night and put on a 20% auto-gratuity for anything left open past closing time.
Suffering Bastard is located inside Tuffy’s Bottle Shop & Lounge. Reservations are highly suggested, but walk-ins are seated by availability. Click here to make a reservation.

There is ample free parking directly outside Tuffy’s along S. Myrtle Ave and 2nd Street. There is also free parking all throughout Downtown Sanford, but please be courteous of any towing signs, neighboring residents, and businesses.
